Points details for 2022

Points are awarded to the top 5 finishers in each of 5 categories: A, B, C, women, Junior women, Junior men.  

Women or U19’s who start and place in the top 5 in either an A or a B group will receive points in that category as well as points in their own category.

Points are awarded as follows: 

For overall Club Championship points:

A: 30, 21, 15, 9, 6

B: 20, 14, 10, 6, 4

C: 10, 7, 5, 3, 2

For Woman's and Junior Championships

Women: 10, 7, 5, 3, 2

Junior: 10, 7, 5, 3, 2

Where there are fewer than 5 finishers in a category, points are awarded from the bottom up (e.g., where there are just 3 finishers in a race, they get 3rd, 4th, and 5th place points).  Bonus points may be awarded or multipliers if announced before start of the race. Examples: Primes for points, KOM hill climbs or Stage race bonus points. 

Race director has the discretion to request a rider to upgrade to a higher cat on a per race or season basis. 

In combined A/B fields only top receive the top field points (i.e. mixed A/B winner gets 30 points)

Time Trials will be scored as overall actual results, Junior and Women fields receiving receiving 10, 7, 5, 3, 2. If less than 5, points count up. We will be tracking and sharing handicap based results.
