Chris Helwig

I run a regular Sunday ride all Fall and Winter.

Rides usually leave my house in Northridge at 9am and we meet at the stretch point at 9:20 am at the Corner of Adelaide and 9 mile.

Ride lengths over the Fall and Winter are usually 2.5-3hrs. Pace is moderate at around 30 km/h depending on if people are on their winter bikes or summer bikes.

We don't ride when the roads are snow covered, but we go out in some fairly cold temperatures of as cold as -8 straight up and -14 with the Windchill.

Last winter we had a good group of around 4-8 riders depending on the day but I am looking to grow the group a little bit as it is always nice to have others to block the cold west winds in the winter.

If you are interested in joining the Sunday rides please email me chris@coachchris.ca

You have to have OCA insurance which an LCW membership or race licence already has, but I am not charging any fees to do the rides other than needing the insurance.
