Annual General Meeting and Awards Banquet

Addendum: Congratulations to Daniel Gregory, this year's winner of the Roger DeRoo award for most improved rider!

This year's annual general meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 1 at 4pm at Chaucer's pub, to be followed by the awards banquet at 6:00pm.  Banquet tickets (not required to attend the AGM) are now available for purchase through CCN Bikes at a club-subsidized cost of $25.  The banquet is limited to the first 35 people to register.  Menu: Choice of Caesar, Spinach, or California Mixed Greens for Appetizer; choice of Prime Rib, Poached Salmon or 3 cheese stuffed chicken entree; dessert tray; coffee or tea; alcohol available for purchase; Vegetarian stir-fry option.

Items for the AGM include Directors' reports (including discussion of racing and touring); fee structure for next year; and election of club officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer/Membership, Race Director, Touring Director, Springbank Director, Webmaster, Social Director).  Please consider volunteering to help the club out. If you can't volunteer, please come anyway and provide your input on our activities.  This is your chance to raise concerns or make recommendations for next year.

Among those to be awarded at the banquet are Jeff Schiller (Springbank and Michael Scott Baker memorial awards); Sara Giovannetti (Springbank women's champion); Daniel Gregory (most improved); Brad Nicol (volunteer recognition); and top local riders Andrew House (G), Eric Hueston (S), Lucas Taylor (B), Scott Breen (ITT), Joyce Spruyt (G), Kristen Kit (S), Amy White (B), Rosemary Wedlake (ITT), Lucas Taylor (u19G), Daniel Gregory (u19S), Daniel Nordemann-Dasilva (u19B)

This year the touring committee will also award classic LCW club jerseys to those involved in touring in volunteer and most improved categories.
