Long Term Athlete Development

General News

The OCA will be holding an informative session on the Canadian Sport for Life Long Term Athlete Development model on November 26th, starting at 10am (and finishing no later than 2pm) at the Cool Brewery in Toronto. CS4L-LTAD is the recently adopted framework for all Canadian sport.

The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the LTAD model and how it is becoming the foundation of OCA and club program development, coaching and event coordination. This meeting will greatly benefit clubs who are interested in athlete development in competitive cycling- especially those clubs currently providing programs for youth or clubs who wish to begin providing youth programming. Club presidents and club coaches are all invited.

You must RSVP if you'd like to attend, as space is limited.

Please reply to operations@ontariocycling.org by Monday, November 21st to let me know if you are coming.

Operations Manager, Ontario Cycling Association
